Nor'easter: Here's Latest Connecticut Power Outage Update

Thousands in Connecticut remain without power after whipping winds and pouring rain brought down trees and power lines across the state, causing outages.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 14,006 of Eversource’s 1.28 million Connecticut customers were still without power, while United Illuminating crews worked to repair 22 outages impacting 1,215 customers.

“Strong winds are still whipping across the state and have taken down trees with them,” Eversource officials stated. “If you’re driving, please be careful of debris in the road that could be tangled with power lines. Crews are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.”
